Welcome to ShackleDB - the shackle database for iPhones and iPad. Details of shackles available from popular vendors such as Crosby®, Green Pin® and GN® and can serve as a guideline during estimation and design. ShackleDB is an essential app for lifting / rigging personnel for offshore and site use.
ShackleDB can be used to search and select the suitable padeye you want from a range of shackle types and make. Searching also gives you the nearest shackles that matches your working load limit. Other brands of shackle can be added on request.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
- Information icon on the main screen on top left is now replaced with a 'Settings' icon
- Restore purchase button is moved into the 'Settings' view which can be accessed from the icon on top left on the master list of shackles
- Sharing the searched results through email includes 'output.txt' which gives details of the shackle
